The construction of Balang Island Bridge in East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) has been completed by the Government through the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR). The bridge will connect Balikpapan City with North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU) as well as the main logistics route to the National Capital City (IKN) Nusantara, cutting the travel time from Balikpapan from 4 hours to only 1 hour.
