In the launching ceremony of Coretax in the Ministry of Finance Office on Tuesday (31^st December), President Prabowo Subianto reiterated that the 12% VAT must be implemented specifically on luxury goods and services. The reasons for this implementation including the public interest and to put fort the public benefit as a whole, to protect the purchasing power and to boost economic distribution.
