President Joko Widodo officiated the status of Special Economic Zone for projects developed by PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk. (BSDE) and Mayapada group. PT Surya Inter Wisesa (SIW), a subsidiary of BSDE, has invested the total of  Rp 18.8 trillion to develop Banten Education, Technology and International Health KEK on a total land area of 59.68 hectares. PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk. (SRAJ), a subsidiary of Mayapada Group, will invest Rp 6.91 trillion to develop Batam Tourism and International Health KEK.
