Indonesia's Economy Shows Recovery

The Ministry of Coordinating Economy Airlangga Hartarto stated that Indonesia’s economy is recovering as shown in the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) of Indonesian manufacture which reached an expansive level of 50. The World Bank, OECD, ADB and IMF also estimate Indonesia’s economy to grow in 2021 between 4.4% and 5.1% and in 2022 between 4.8% and 6%. These estimations are in line with the government’s economic target in a 4.5%-5.3% range.
