Based on the material reported by the Infrastructure Directorate General of Public Work Ministry, two toll road projects with the total length of 68.99 kilometers in Sumatra are planned to be operational in 2026. The two toll roads are Betung-Tempino-Jambi Section 2 Tungkal Jaya-Bayung Lencir which spans the total of 54.30 kilometers and Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung Toll Road which spans the total of 69.19 kilometers. Based on data from the Toll Road Management Agency (BPJT) as of August 2025, the total length of toll roads operating in Sumatra has reached 1.085.93 kilometers.
