The Minister of Finance Purbaya Sadewa stated that Indonesia’s trade balance surplus continued to August 2025, reaching US$5.3 billion, increasing from US$4.17 billion in July 2025. Cumulatively in the January-August 2025 period, the surplus reached US$41.06 billion, or increasing by 52.3% from the same period in 2024 of US$32.7 billion.
