President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to visit the Industropolis Special Economic Zone (KEK) in Batang. In addition, the president will also monitor the investment plan from China for the ‘Twin City, Twin Parks’ in KEK Batang. The government aims to achieve Rp75.8 trillion in investment by the next 5 years. The project is expected to absorb 58,145 workers in the manufacturing, logistics, and distribution sectors.
