Matahari Putra Prima Starts Aggressive Expansion in 2026

PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) of Lippo Group, aggressively expanding this early 2026 by acquisitioning a number of lands and buildings in various places in Java Island for its outlets. The total transaction as of 18th February 2026 reached Rp780 billion. The transactions were material as MPPA’s equity position by the end of 2025 was negative Rp4 billion with Rp960 billion in interest-bearing debt, thus new sources of capital funding from right issues or private placement may be required.
