Indonesia-United States Tariff Negotiations to Conclude in January 2026

Indonesian Government will continue to the final round discussion with the United States Trade Representative (USTR) early 2026 regarding the reciprocal tariff, thus the real 19% tariff will not be implemented until early 2026. Previously, the President of the United States Donald Trump excised 32% import tax, however in July 2025, he agreed with the President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto to lower the import tariff to 19%.
