The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded Indonesia’s trade balance with a surplus of US$ 2.36 billion or approximately Rp 33.89 trillion in May 2021. The May 2021 export recorded at US$ 16.60 billion or declining by 10.25% from exports in April 2021. Compared to May 2020, the exports increased by 58.76% and cumulatively, Indonesia’s export during the January-May 2021 period has reached US$ 83.99 billion or increasing by 30.58% from the same period in 2020.
