In the opening of “Pembukaan Perdagangan dalam Rangka 44 Tahun Diaktifkannya Kembali Pasar Modal” event, the Main Director of Indonesia Central of Security Depository (KSEI) Uriep Budhi Prasetyo stated that the number of domestic capital investors as of 6^th August 2021 has reached 5.89 million investors or quadrupling since 2017. The majority of the investors are the millennials and the Gen Z investors. One of the factors for this increase was the availability of technology information infrastructure and account registration simplification.
